White Mountain Hotel

Pulling off a $3.5 million renovation in the middle of a pandemic was an ambitious plan for the White Mountain Hotel, North Conway’s luxury hotel, restaurant and golf course. Just as ambitious was the PR plan that was launched to support their goal of driving room reservations for the resort upon reopening.

We pitched many different stories related to the renovation with great success. The family-owned business was highlighted in several COVID-19 related regional stories, proving the resilience of the tourism industry in the face of adversity. This resulted in the hotel ownership being a featured interview with the NH CBS Affiliate.

Upon reopening, the hotel worked with me on a media event, hosting writers from regional and national media outlets resulting in more earned media, including articles in The Boston Herald and Forbes.com.

The result? The White Mountain Hotel has exceeded its revenue goals since reopening, selling out for most of summer and fall 2021.
